I want to add to this:

Just because you have a computer and watch ‘Big Bang Theory’, doesn’t make you a nerd or a geek.

It doesn’t make you an ‘outsider’ or someone who is ‘so nerdy’ or anything like that at all. You are NOT so ‘dorky’. You are NOT so ‘nerdy’.

You are not a big dweeb.

It means you’re pretty mainstream. You buy your clothes at The Gap. You eat burgers at McDonalds. 

You’re right in the middle. Middle America.

You’re NOT a nerd.
